Target Toy Sale

Target has a great sale going on for toys.  I had been eyeing some toys that were marked down 30% for a while.  Today they finally marked them down to 75% off.  Make sure you stop by your local Target to see what they have.  It isn't just the Target in my area with this deal.

When I was about 8, I stayed the summer with my maternal grandma.  She believed in chores.  I was okay with cleaning the kitchen, but panicked when I was told I would have to clean the tub.  There were multiple people using one bathroom.  I could not handle it.  I quickly lied and told her I was allergic to Comet, so I could not clean the tub.  The entire summer, I was scared that she would find out I had lied.  I kept thinking about the ass whippings my mom and her siblings said she would hand out when they were growing up.  I did not want to have any ass whipping stories of my own.

Confession #101

In kindergarten, a classmate told me that her mother and father were brother and sister.  After asking her several questions I was still in disbelief and announced it to the class.  Needless to say, I was put in time out and the teacher tried to explain to me that stating that information was not appropriate.  I explained that I was only repeating what Dawn had told me.  For the rest of that school year I hoped that Dawn's parents would come to the class.  I had more questions because that just couldn't be right.
